The International Conference on “Advanced Technology in Exploration and Exploitation of Minerals” will showcase technological solutions for effective and safe exploration and mining in the current production driven resource environment. The 2nd edition of this International conference is being organized during 10-11 January 2014 at Hotel Taj Gateway, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India by Mining Engineers’ Association of India, Jodhpur Rajasthan Chapter.
The demand for resources in our global economy is constantly evolving, especially as new technologies are implemented. With the increasing need of the mankind, the minerals are ruthlessly mined out. Most of the mining today is grubby business. But it doesn't have to be. The conference will provide an opportunity to learn more about the exploration technologies and applying thinking on geology and mineral deposits to explore better and smarter ways, clean technology innovations and technologies that are transforming the mining sector over the next decade. Mining companies are being held increasingly accountable for their environmental Impacts. Conference will look for ways to minimize the expenses of both the production phase of their operations, and reclamation (i.e. the mandated end-of-life cleanup expenses associated with mining in many jurisdictions, now).
